what can i do my back i have prolapsed disk and degenerative and some stenosis?
i have had physical therapy i have been off work since febuary i went to a neurosurgeon he sent me to pt and now they want to send me to pain specialist and my back seems that some how it is hurting in my spine and i do not know what i did i just done few things around house and rode in car but i can barely move my back is hurting so bad the pain med did not help or heating pad should i call my doc get second referal or what please help on the pain of 10 it is a 9 for sure…….thanks
i had the same thing wrong with my back.i was referred to one of the best spine surgeons in the Seattle,WA. area.he told me physical therapy was never going to do anything for me,and it would be a waste of time.he asked if i wanted to try cortisone injections before i had surgery. i tried it many times and it never worked.pain meds.didn’t work either.i have had the surgery and i recommend it.that is the only way to relieve your pain.go to a spine specialist and you will get the help you need.the surgery pain was nothing close to the pain i had before i had the surgery.
